For the biggest number of connections and the best concentration of legendary ski lines, the Sellaronda is your ultimate Sunday destination. Centered around the Sella Massif, this “skiing carousel” connects four Ladin valleys and offers access to over 500 km of interconnected slopes.

Below is the blueprint to “connect all” on a high-speed Sunday tour.

🗺️ The Ultimate Connection Map: Sellaronda 2026

The Sellaronda can be skied in two directions. For a Sunday, the Orange Route (Clockwise) is often preferred by technical skiers for its “sun-facing” descents, while the Green Route (Counter-clockwise) is slightly easier but equally scenic.

🚠 The “Connect All” Checklist (Major Lift Sequences)

To complete the loop and see the most famous lines, follow these critical connections.

1. The Orange Route (Clockwise)

This route is marked with orange signposts throughout the circuit.

  • Start in Selva: Costabella chairlift ➔ Dantercepies cable car (reaches Passo Gardena).
  • Into Alta Badia: Descent to Colfosco ➔ Borest gondola to Corvara ➔ Boé cable car to Campolongo Pass.
  • Into Arabba: Campolongo Pass ➔ Bec de Roces chairlift ➔ descent into Arabba village.
  • Into Val di Fassa: Funifor Arabba-Porta Vescovo ➔ Fedom chairlift to Pordoi Pass ➔ New Lezuo-Belvedere gondola (New for 2026!).
  • Back to Val Gardena: Belvedere descent ➔ Lupo Bianco ➔ Sella Pass ➔ descent through the “Stone City” to Selva.

2. The Green Route (Counter-clockwise)

Follow the green signposts for a different perspective.

  • Start in Selva: Ciampinoi cable car ➔ Piz Seteur ➔ Sella Pass.
  • Into Val di Fassa: Salei Valley ➔ Pian Frataces (Lupo Bianco) ➔ New 3S Campitello-Col Rodella (New for 2026!).
  • Into Arabba: Belvedere ➔ Arabba Village ➔ Bec de Roces.
  • Into Alta Badia: Campolongo Pass ➔ Crëp de Mont ➔ descent to Corvara ➔ Borest to Colfosco.
  • Back to Val Gardena: Frara ➔ Val Setus ➔ Dantercepies descent to Selva.

🚀 Pro Sunday Strategy for 2026

  • The “Double Connection”: If you have high energy, use the Arabba connection to hit the Marmolada Glacier (The Queen). Take the Malga Ciapela cable car to 3,265m for the 12km “La Bellunese” run.
  • The “Secret Valley”: From the Armentarola lift in Alta Badia, take a taxi-bus to Falzarego Pass to ski the Lagazuoi Hidden Valley. This connects back to the Sellaronda via a horse-drawn tow.
  • Timing is Critical: Sunday is a changeover day for many, making it slightly quieter early on, but you must pass your last mountain pass by 3:30 PM to ensure you aren’t stranded in the wrong valley when lifts close.
  • New Tech for 2026: Look out for the brand new Lezuo-Belvedere 10-person gondola in Arabba and the Forcelles high-speed chairlift in Alta Badia for faster transitions between valleys.
