Express Boat To Symi Island STARTS 17th May 2024!!!
Symi is a super, little island, situated North West of Rhodes. It is completely different in style to Rhodes and very laid back. The main town, Gialos is built around the harbour front; pastel coloured houses cascade down the steep slopes and high-end shops, tavernas and boutiques line the waterfront.
Leaving from Kiotari we head up the east coast of the island passing places of antiquity, beauty and historical legend: Passing Lindos, Archangelos, Kolymbia, Afandou, Faliraki, Kalithea we reach Rhodes Town at approx 10:30 and there is a quick turn around before the boat leaves at 10:45 for Symi Island.
At 11:45 we arrive in Symi Town; you have three hours to explore the charming harbour-front town, get some lunch and even have a swim at the small beach. We leave Symi at 14:45 (check actual departure time as this is indicative) and head off to St George’s Bay where we drop anchor. The crystal clear waters and the sheer cliff faces (scaled only by local goats) will take your breathe away. Your swim here will create an indelible memory of the wonders of Symi for you. Back to Rhodes Town for 16:55 and then 17:00 we head off to Kiotari. A wonderful day on the sea; bring sunscreen, a hat, a smile. A limited arrangement of refreshments are available on board.
