🔷 ALESSANDRIA PREZIOSA, THE “PRECIOUS” ART EXHIBITION IN NAME AND IN FACT 🔷

🔸These are just a few of the works that can be seen at the “Precious Alexandria” Exhibition until Oct. 10 at Palazzo del Monferrato in Alexandria.

🔸The exhibition brings together as many as 84 works ranging from the mid-1600s to the mid-1700s that tell the story of the Province of Alexandria in those years.

🔸If, in fact, it was a territory divided between the Spanish Duchy of Milan, the Gonzaga’s Marquisate of Monferrato and the Oltregiogo of the Republic of Genoa, and thus peripheral to power and great craftsmen, it was still a transit territory where especially goldsmiths and silversmiths from northern Europe operated and left artifacts of great value!
