Ingredients:
6 medium russet potatoes, washed
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions:
- Preheat Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare Potatoes:
Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove any dirt.
Pat dry the potatoes using paper towels.
- Poke Potatoes:
Using a fork, pierce each potato several times all around. This helps steam escape during cooking.
- Coat with Oil and Salt:
Rub each potato with canola oil until evenly coated.
Sprinkle kosher salt over the potatoes, ensuring they’re well-seasoned.
- Air Fry Potatoes:
Arrange the potatoes in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded.
Cook the potatoes at 400°F (200°C) for about 35 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking.
- Check for Doneness:
Test the doneness of the potatoes by inserting a fork; they should be tender inside.
- Serve:
Once cooked, remove the potatoes from the air fryer.
Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
