BOMB POP COCKTAIL RECIPE

A Bomb Pop cocktail, inspired by the red, white, and blue Bomb Pop popsicle, is a colorful and festive drink perfect for summer celebrations.

Ingredients:

  • 1 oz. Grenadine
  • 1 oz. Lemonade
  • 2 oz. Blue Curacao
  • 1 oz. Vodka (optional for a non-alcoholic version, just omit the vodka)
  • Ice

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glass:
  • Fill a tall glass halfway with ice.
  1. Layer the Red:
  • Pour the grenadine over the ice slowly. It will settle at the bottom.
  1. Add the White:
  • In a shaker, mix the lemonade and vodka (if using) with ice. Shake well.
  • Slowly pour this mixture over the back of a spoon or along the side of the glass to help layer it on top of the grenadine without mixing.
  1. Finish with Blue:
  • Very carefully top the drink with the Blue Curacao, again pouring over the back of a spoon or along the glass edge to keep the layers separate.
  1. Garnish and Serve:
  • Optionally, garnish with a cherry or a small American flag pick for a festive touch.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

The key to achieving the layered effect is to pour each layer slowly and use the back of a spoon to diffuse the liquid being added. The different sugar content in each layer helps them stay separate.
