The most detailed and perfect model diorama of Imperial Rome ever created. It took 36 years to be created, commissioned by Mussolini to celebrate Augustus’ birthday. An archaeologist called Italo Gismondi used detailed maps to create this masterpiece. The model is set in the 4th Century during the reing of Constantine. It is on display in the Roman Civilisation Museum.
