Doesn’t this feel like Narnia? We are on the snowy path to Malga Nemes at an altitude of 1,980 meters.
Above the hut towers the Nemes Alp, and from its panoramic terrace you can enjoy the view towards the Popera Group.
The hike takes about 1½ hours and is quite easy for both young children and people without a lot of training.
You find yourself projected immediately, after starting from the Monte Croce Comelico pass, into a forest immersed in silence, the realm of snowshoes.
When you arrive, tired but happy you must try one of the many mountain specialties served by the hut staff with that nice South Tyrolean accent…I recommend the cakes served in giant portions! – At Passo di Monte Croce di Comelico.
