What strategies do you use to cope with negative feelings?
Feeling bad can be hard, but there are simple ways to deal with it. First, find out why you’re sad. Is it because of other stuff or your own mind? When you know why, you can pick the best steps to fix it. Taking deep breaths can help a lot. Focusing on breathing can make you calm and put you in the present. This can settle your mind and help you think better. Trying to look at things in a new way can also make a difference. Sadness often comes from thinking wrong. If you face these ideas and think straight, your sadness might get weaker. Being active also helps. Exercise releases happy stuff in your body and lets you express your emotions. Running, hitting the gym, or gentle yoga can lift your mood and chase away the bad feelings. Talking with people is important when you’re down. Sharing with pals or family can make you feel understood and noticed. Sharing your tough times can make you feel less by yourself. Doing creative stuff like writing, painting, or playing music can heal you, too. Letting your emotions out through creativity can bring new thoughts and make you happier. Being kind to yourself is crucial. If you treat yourself well and accept who you are, you can create a kind voice inside that heals your spirit. If the sadness is too much, seeing a therapist or counselor is a wise choice. They know what to do, have tried-and-true methods, and offer a safe place to work through and get over big feelings. In the end, getting over sadness needs time, knowing yourself, and being ready to test out different ways. Putting these methods to work in your life can build your strength, make you wiser about emotions, and boost your mood in the long run.

Care for self then change may start. Should grief still press, seek guide. A wise ear can lead through mire. The fog will part. But the dawn takes will, toil, and time.
This something my therapist in Italy was used to say it’s obviously translated but it sounds the same, hope it’ll help someone as it did to my Grandmother and me…
