Less than a month for the Cleantech Conference: Driving Sustainable Innovation – How to boost cleantech manufacturing in the EU? Organised by the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) and Directorate-General for Climate Action (DG CLIMA). The event will be held on Thursday, 11 April 2024, in Brussels, at the European Commission premises in the Charlemagne building.
Recognising the clear need to accelerate the decarbonisation of Europe’s industrial sectors, this year’s conference will explore pathways for supporting European manufacturing of cleantech components,including renewable energy technologies, batteries, electrolysers, and heat-pumps. The goal is to promote collaboration, facilitate knowledge sharing, and promote dialogue among stakeholders. The conference will gather high-level representatives of the EU Institutions, industry stakeholders, and investors, as well as representatives from projects already supported by the Innovation Fund.
